33129 (2026). Arena Williams to the Associate Minister of Housing: Further to 30284 (2026), what steps has the Minister taken to engage with Kāinga Ora regarding implementation of mandatory safety standards for existing corded blinds in its homes?

Hon Tama Potaka: This is an operational matter for Kāinga Ora. I expect Kāinga Ora to comply with all mandatory safety standards. I have not had any interactions with Kāinga Ora specifically on this issue. This is also my response to written question 33130 (2026).
