Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Local Government: How many deputy chief executive or equivalent roles, if any, are in the Minister's departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, and what is the total number of employees in these departments, agencies, crown entities or any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for?

Hon Simon Watts: The Water Services Authority – Taumata Arowai has four Deputy Chief Executive or equivalent roles, and 104 employees (including the Chief Executive and staff on parental leave) as of 7 July 2025. As the Minister of Local Government I am not responsible for any other departments.
