Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Treaty of Waitangi Negotiations: How many deputy chief executive or equivalent roles, if any, are in the Minister's departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, and what is the total number of employees in these departments, agencies, crown entities or any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: There are two Deputy Chief Executive (DCE) or equivalent roles within Te Tari Whakatau. As at 4 July 2025, the total number of employees is 128. The Ngāpuhi Investment Fund (Tupu Tonu) has no Deputy Chief Executive or any equivalent positions. As at 4 July the total headcount is 11 personnel.
