Francisco Hernandez to the Minister responsible for the NZSIS: How many deputy chief executive or equivalent roles, if any, are in the Minister's departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, and what is the total number of employees in these departments, agencies, crown entities or any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for?

Hon Judith Collins: The GCSB and NZSIS work closely together with a number of shared enabling functions. I am advised that the NZSIS has seven deputy chief executive or equivalent roles, of which four are shared with the GCSB. As at 30 June 2025, the NZSIS has 396.1 full-time equivalent staff.
