Hon Nicola Willis: The Treasury has four permanent Deputy Secretary roles. At 30 June 2025, the Treasury had 586.2 full time equivalent employees. The RBNZ has 4 Assistant Governor roles (Deputy Chief Executive or equivalent roles). Excluding employees on leave of absence, contingent workers, and the Governor, and including the 4 Assistant Governor roles, the total number of employees is 631.
