33062 (2026). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister for State Owned Enterprises: Has the Minister received any advice since 1 July 2024 on whether integrating the commercial business with Airways’ core operations presents any operational, governance, financial or safety risks; if so, what was that advice?

Hon Simeon Brown: I refer the Member to my answer to Written question 33060 (2026). Additionally, in October 2025 Airways informed shareholding Ministers and the Associate Minister of Transport that the Boards of Airways International Limited (AIL), Aeropath Limited and Airways Training Limited approved the amalgamation of Aeropath and Airways Training with AIL, with AIL being the continuing company. The amalgamation was a change in group company structure only, and did not affect the day-to-day operations, business practices or the way the Airways Group functions.
