Hon Simon Watts: All City and Regional Deal proposals, including Waikato’s, demonstrated potential to contribute to regional and national development. The proposals recommended to Ministers for progression were ones that best demonstrated a strong proposition, potential for collaboration, and a clear pathway to implementation.
