Hon Penny Simmonds: No, I do not agree. The environment is a priority for this Government, and we are taking a practical and balanced approach to delivering better environmental outcomes. That includes investing in waste infrastructure and supporting local authorities to reduce waste without passing unnecessary costs on to ratepayers. We are focused on actions that deliver real results—not symbolic gestures.
