33008 (2025). Hon Rachel Brooking to the Minister for the Environment: Has the Ministry for the Environment provided any advice regarding the impact of the food scraps policy reversals on private sector investment, and if so, what was that advice by title and date?

Hon Penny Simmonds: No advice has been provided to me specifically on the impact of the food scraps policy reversals on private sector investment. I can advise the member the Waste Minimisation Fund remains open to fund projects focused on diverting organic waste from landfill.
