32991 (2025). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Attorney-General: What steps, if any, will the Government take to rebuild and strengthen the Crown's relationship with Māori if the Treaty of Waitangi provisions are changed or removed from legislation?

Hon Judith Collins: This is not an Attorney-General ministerial responsibility. The Minister for Māori Crown Relations has responsibility for the Crown's relationship with Māori, and the Minister of Justice is leading the review of Treaty clauses.
