Hon Nicole McKee: Cabinet is still considering these and other related issues in the proposals for the rewrite of the Arms Act 1983. However, as the Transfer of the Firearms Safety Authority (FSA) from Police to a public service department is part of the National Party and ACT Party Coalition Agreement, I anticipate Cabinet making final decisions on the FSA transfer within this Parliamentary term.
