32922 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What happens to a patient who arrives in person at Dargaville Hospital after 8.30pm and can such a patient be admitted overnight?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that no admissions or transfers into Dargaville Hospital will occur after 8.30pm. Patients who are acutely unwell and present after that time will be transported to Whangārei Hospital by ambulance or helicopter where clinically appropriate.
