32910 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: Does he consider it appropriate for a firm that has advised NZTA on a public-private partnership transaction to also form part of the team verifying compliance with that contract, and if not, what steps will he take?

Hon Chris Bishop: Yes. I have been assured by NZTA that the preferred Independent Reviewer team has had no involvement in supporting NZTA's PPP procurement process. As a result, I am satisfied that no further action is required
