32909 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What is the estimated value of the independent reviewer contract for the Warkworth to Te Hana expressway, and when is that contract expected to be executed?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised by NZTA that the value of the independent reviewer contract for the Warkworth to Te Hana expressway has not yet been confirmed because the contract has not been finalised. Any estimate of the contract value is commercially sensitive while the procurement process remains underway. NZTA expects the contract to be executed once final negotiations are completed, which is expected to occur shortly.
