32810 (2025). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: How many High-Risk Residential Service beds are Corrections set to deliver by June 2028, if any?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that on 17 June 2025, Corrections entered into a contract for the delivery of four additional High-Risk Residential Services beds and supporting facilities at Corrections’ Te Korowai service in Upper Hutt. Enabling works are underway and main works are expected to commence in July 2025.
