32769 (2025). Hon Priyanca Radhakrishnan to the Prime Minister: Who are the members of the Terrorist Designation Working Group and when, if at all, did they meet over the past year to consider the designation of The American Proud Boys as a terrorist group under the Terrorism Suppression Act 2002?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: I am advised that the Terrorist Designation Working Group comprises representatives from New Zealand Police (Chair), Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, the New Zealand Defence Force, Crown Law Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and the Combined Threat Assessment Group (inter-agency working group hosted and led by the NZSIS). I am advised that the American Proud Boys were discussed at Terrorist Designation Working Group meetings on: • 29 November 2024 • 29 January 2025 • 28 February 2025 • 31 March 2025 • 28 April 2025 • 24 June 2025.
