32706 (2025). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister for Regulation: Further to WPQ 27817 (2025) did the minister meet any of the candidates for the role of Chief Economist in the Ministry for Regulation; if so when and who?

Hon David Seymour: Yes. Providing details of the candidates would breach the privacy of those individuals and I consider the need to maintain their privacy outweighs any public interest in the matter.
