32674 (2025). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Associate Minister of Education: What evidence, if any, did the Minister receive on the pay parity changes for ECE teachers, including whether the changes would lead to a likely decrease in new teacher pay?

Hon David Seymour: Titles of all advice that I have received has been, or will be, proactively released on the Ministry of Education website. https://www.education.govt.nz/our-work/information-releases/ My office receives a large amount of material every week. Asking them to collate that material would require substantial collation and research and prevent them from undertaking their substantive roles. I do not consider this to be in the public interest.
