32633 (2025). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: What evidence, if any, has been presented to the Minister on the cost-effectiveness of the road cone hotline?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that WorkSafe New Zealand is delivering the road cone hotline pilot within its baseline funding. I am further advised that during the planning of the pilot, a digital hotline was chosen as the most cost-effective mechanism and to improve the accuracy of notifications received from the public.
