32446 (2025). Rt Hon Chris Hipkins to the Prime Minister: What aides-mémoire, briefings, memos, notes, reports, or any other advice, if any, has the Minister or their Office received during the week beginning 23 June 2025, listed by agency, title and date received?
Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: As Prime Minister, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on a range of matters. In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I received the following documents from 23-29 June 2025 from my officials in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC): • Prime Minister’s Weekly Brief, 23 June 2025 • Foreign Honour for New Zealand citizen (two reports), 24 June 2025 • Health Targets Dashboard – June 2025, 26 June 2025 • Quarterly Plan Q2 – Report – 27 June – FINAL, 27 June 2025 • Prime Minister’s Weekly Brief, 27 June 2025. Jointly with the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery I also received the following document: North Island Weather Events: Monthly Progress Update on Categorisation, Buyouts, Infrastructure and Local Transport Projects, 27 June 2025. I also received four documents within the specified timeframe however, it is not in the public interest to release the title of these documents. I have received briefings from the Policy Advisory Group, a business unit of DPMC, during the requested timeframe however I am not releasing the titles of these briefings. Furthermore, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from my officials in DPMC and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices. This information is not held in a format that can be easily extracted within the time frame.
