32343 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: Further to his reply to Question 29612 (2025), how many new social houses have been allocated to each of the locations listed and what is the confirmed contractual delivery date for the allocated houses?

Hon Chris Bishop: I have provided a table supplied by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) that shows the breakdown of social housing places committed, allocated and in the pipeline but yet to be approved by location as at the end of May 2025. I am advised that HUD expects that the allocation process for social housing places will be complete in the third quarter of 2025, with contractual confirmation to follow once individual projects’ funding approval conditions are met. I am further advised that negotiations with providers on many of the places have been ongoing for some time and it is not practical to assign specific negotiation start dates to individual projects.
