32315 (2025). Hon Phil Twyford to the Minister of Immigration: Are the changes to the Accredited Employer Work Visa on track to be implemented on time?

Hon Erica Stanford: To date, AEWV changes scheduled for implementation in 2025 have been delivered on time. The implementation date for the Job Check re-design has been revised to September 2025 in the context of significantly improved Job Check processing times and the need to deliver other priority work. The go-live date for new pathways for seasonal workers will be decided in consultation with the relevant sectors to ensure a smooth transition from the current seasonal specific purpose visa.
