32288 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: Are NZTA or WorkSafe responsible for triaging or following up on reports made through the Government’s road cone hotline, and if so, how is this carried out?

Hon Chris Bishop: The NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) is responsible for following up on reports that relate to the state highway network. Local roads are the responsibility of the relevant Road Controlling Authority. The NZTA follows the process laid out in my response to Written Question 29614 (2025).
