32168 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: Does the Minister accept that Kāinga Ora's draft March 2026 Board paper recommends amending the Tenancy Management Framework to explicitly consider the best interests of children in termination decisions, and if so, does this indicate children's interests were not explicitly considered before that point?

Hon Tama Potaka: Kāinga Ora advises this was a paper to its Board on an operational matter. Kāinga Ora advises it already considers children’s interests in termination decisions. The recommendation to its Board was to make this more explicit in the Tenancy Management Framework.
