32143 (2025). Hon Dr Deborah Russell to the Minister of Revenue: Was ministerial sign off given for the participating advisor process; if not, when was the Minister first made aware of this initiative?

Hon Simon Watts: The participating advisor initiative relates to customer compliance services resourcing decisions made within Inland Revenue’s significant enterprises segment. Inland Revenue internal sign-off at the appropriate Significant Enterprise Segment Lead level was obtained. I received one briefing on this initiave on 27 June 2025, which was the first time I was briefed on it.
