32141 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: How many, if any, of the 212 state housing projects that Kāinga Ora has decided to cancel have land that is vacant due to the previous demolition of state homes and how many homes were demolished for those projects?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that as at 31 March 2025, 212 cancelled projects include 149 vacant sites resulting from 325 demolitions completed. For a regional breakdown, I refer the Member to the attached table provided by Kāinga Ora.
