Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Prime Minister: What specific detailed advice, if any, has the Cabinet Office given Hon Chris Bishop about what would be appropriate to post regarding the Melling Interchange and or the City Link Bridge as a result of the Auditor General’s report, Management of conflicts of interest relating to the City Link bridge, and on what date was that advice provided?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the responsible minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). I am advised that the Cabinet Office provided advice to the Hon Chris Bishop’s office on 16 June 2026 relating to communications where a Minister has a portfolio responsibility for matters or projects relevant to their electorate.
