Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Internal Affairs: What consultations are the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, planning to open on the week beginning Monday 23 June 2025 with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and what is the proposed net change in roles?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised by the Department of Internal Affairs that consultation on an organisational change process commenced on 24 June 2025. The proposed net change is a reduction of 14 jobs. I am advised by Fire and Emergency New Zealand, the Office of Film and Literature Classification, and the New Zealand Lotteries Commission that there were no consultations planned around changes to jobs, employee numbers or any other employment conditions for the week beginning 23 June 2025
