31925 (2025). Tamatha Paul to the Minister of Housing: Why do the Government's priority locations for social housing delivery by strategic partners not match the priority locations for social housing delivery communicated to Kāinga Ora in 2024?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that the priority locations for social housing delivery by Strategic Partners were chosen considering social housing need using data and existing delivery pipeline information as available in late 2024. The locations were confirmed in early 2025. The priority locations for Kāinga Ora delivery as set out in their February 2024 Letter of Expectations were identified in late 2023 using different criteria and data.
