31918 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Education: What plans, if any, do her officials have to build a new Wesley Intermediate School or upgrade the current facilities and what, if anything, has been budgeted for this work?

Hon Erica Stanford: The Ministry of Education (the Ministry) has plans for staged investment to support Wesley Intermediate School in response to property condition and growth. Any investment will be prioritised alongside the needs of other schools locally and nationally and will be informed by the scale and pace of anticipated roll growth. Ongoing property support for Wesley Intermediate is provided through the Ministry’s standard funding mechanisms, including the Property Maintenance Grant (PMG) and 5 Year Agreement (5YA) funding.
