Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Education: Has Kāinga Ora notified the Ministry of Education about any recent decisions it has made about its Wesley West neighbourhood and what action, if any, have her officials taken in regard to Wesley Intermediate as a result of any such decisions?

Hon Erica Stanford: The Ministry of Education (the Ministry) was notified by Kāinga Ora in late May that the redevelopment of Wesley West has been deferred indefinitely. The Ministry has been in contact with Wesley Intermediate and are exploring options on how best to support them.
