31890 (2026). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Transport: Is the main works contractor for the RiverLink project in Lower Hutt required, under its contract, to use the Jobs and Skills Hub to source labour or to meet specified employment and training outcomes; if so, what are those requirements and is the contractor meeting them; and if not, why not?

Hon Chris Bishop: The RiverLink Melling Transport Improvements Alliance agreement does not require the use of the Job and Skills Hub. I am advised by NZTA that it chooses to support the Jobs and Skills hub local employment efforts in mutually agreed ways.
