31842 (2025). Tamatha Paul to the Minister of Housing: Following the outcome of Kāinga Ora's delivery pipeline review, how many new units is Kāinga Ora adding to their state housing stock in the two years to 30 June 2026?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that over the two years to 30 June 2026, it will be adding 2,650 social homes, increasing the total number of housing stock throughout New Zealand to around 78,000, as well as renewing almost 3,000 homes.
