31829 (2025). Tamatha Paul to the Minister of Housing: How many proposals for new social housing from Community Housing Providers has the Government received in each quarter since January 2024, and how many of those have been accepted?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has received a substantial number of applications since January 2024, many of which do not progress towards consideration for approval due to failing to meet funding criteria. I am providing a table of the 109 approved social housing proposals by quarter of approval as supplied by HUD.
