31799 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: How much, if any, does the NZ Transport Agency expect to spend on public consultation and community engagement in relation to the SH2 Hawke's Bay Expressway over the remainder of the 2024-27 National Land Transport Programme period?

Hon Chris Bishop: The budget allows $20,000 for public consultation and community engagement with the remainder of the 2024/27 NLTP. However, actual expenditure will depend on project needs throughout the remainder of the NLTP and may be lower than the amounts budgeted.
