31785 (2025). Teanau Tuiono to the Prime Minister: What advice, reports, briefings, aide memoires, or any other documents has the Minister or any member of their Office seen, if any, about New Zealand halting funding to the Cook Islands by title and date?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: As Prime Minister, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on a range of matters relating to my Prime Minister portfolio, including from the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). I received a relevant briefing from the Policy Advisory Group, a business unit of DPMC, however I am not releasing the title of this briefing. I was informed of the decision relating to funding to the Cook Islands Government on 6 June 2025.
