Hon Mark Mitchell: As the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on matters relating to my Emergency Management and Recovery portfolio. I received the following documents from officials in the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and Cyclone Recovery (CR) between 16-20 June 2025: • Briefing: Minor amendments to criteria and funding for recovery activities in regions impacted by the 2023 North Island Weather Events, 19 June 2025 • Briefing: Ministerial approval to extend Cyclone Recovery Capability funded activities for four councils, 19 June 2025 • Signing of Insurance MoU: Natural Hazards Resilience Partnership, 20 June 2025 I also received another report within the specified timeframe, it is not in the public interest to release the title of this document. In addition, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from officials in NEMA, CR and the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices.
