31519 (2025). Hon Dr Deborah Russell to the Minister of Revenue: What are the plans, if any, to review the operation of the participating advisor initiative?

Hon Simon Watts: The participating advisor initiative is constantly being monitored by Inland Revenue and periodic reviews will be undertaken on approved advisors. Any consideration of the future operation of the initiative will likely occur after 1 April 2026 when a full year of the initiative’s operational data is available.
