31504 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: Which projects, if any, have a later expected main construction start date in the July 2026 Major Transport Projects Pipeline than the Government indicated in October 2025?

Hon Chris Bishop: No specific projects have been identified. Any differences between the July 2026 Major Transport Projects Pipeline and earlier Government communications reflect updated assessments of funding availability, project readiness, and programme sequencing. NZTA has consistently advised that construction would not commence without confirmed funding.
