31482 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: When are Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the SH1 Cambridge to Piarere project, listed in Phase One of the July 2026 Major Transport Projects Pipeline, each expected to begin and be completed?

Hon Chris Bishop: Stage 1 is due to start in early 2027 and Stage 2 later in 2027. Construction is expected to take about five to six years.
