31474 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: How many families or individuals previously residing in Rotorua’s contracted emergency motels have been recorded as not having received follow-up by officials, by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development since January 2024, if any?

Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised that the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) contracts for a transition support service that offers up to 12 weeks of wrap around support for households exiting contracted emergency housing in Rotorua into social housing. I further understand HUD officials do not follow up with households themselves.
