Hon Chris Bishop: The quality of pothole repairs is monitored as part of routine drive over inspections undertaken by NZTA staff. Statistics about the number of repairs inspected are not collected. The increased focus on potholes, together with the use of premium materials for repairs has led to improved outcomes in terms of the timeliness and the durability of pothole repairs.
