31460 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: Has the development of land and homes in Kāinga Ora’s Mount Roskill Wesley West neighbourhood been put on hold, and if so, how much funding, if any, had been allocated to the project prior to it being paused, and when was the delivery of any homes originally forecast to begin?
Hon Chris Bishop: As part of Budget 2025, $72m in capital funding allocated for the Wesley West neighbourhood was reprioritised. Approximately $7m of HAF funding had been spent to date in Wesley West and land (which LSPs produce) was forecast to be delivered from October 2026. This funding was spent on design, planning and some early site preparation works.
