31453 (2025). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister of Corrections: Further to WPQ 78819 (2024) how many cells of 6.1 square metres or less are currently occupied and where are they?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that Invercargill Prison is the only site with cells in use that are between 6 metres2 and 6.2 meters2 in size. As at 19 June 2025, 170 cells in Invercargill Prison were occupied.
