31443 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What NZTA co-funding, if any, is committed to the Airport to Botany Busway Stage 2?

Hon Chris Bishop: NZTA has committed $1.7 million from the National Land Transport Fund to the Airport to Botany Stage 2 pre-implementation phase, representing a 51 percent funding assistance rate of the $3.4 million total cost, including administration. Approximately $52 million of implementation funding is identified in the Regional Land Transport Plan, with the level of NZTA co-funding to be confirmed following completion of the pre-implementation phase and confirmation of construction costs.
