31428 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: When is route protection for the Northland Corridor Alternative to Brynderwyn Hills section, listed in Phase Two of the July 2026 Major Transport Projects Pipeline, expected to be completed?

Hon Chris Bishop: In April 2026, NZTA lodged designation and consent applications under the Fast-track Approvals Act, which are currently being considered by an independent panel appointed by the Environmental Protection Authority.
