31396 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What is the current status of the Fast-track Approvals Act application for Petone to Grenada, if it remains a listed project?

Hon Chris Bishop: Petone to Grenada is not a listed project. NZTA has submitted a referral application seeking approval to use the Fast-track Approvals Act. NZTA is currently preparing a planning application to ensure this longer-term project is ready to lodge and secure route protection in the future.
