31392 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What is the expected timeframe for the Auckland Level Crossings Removal (including Western Line) project, listed as a council-led project in Phase Three of the July 2026 Major Transport Projects Pipeline?

Hon Chris Bishop: For the Western Line, the business case is still being developed, with construction of 21 level crossing removal sites currently envisaged over the next two decades, subject to funding availability. Priority sites will be delivered first.
