31383 (2026). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: What statements, resolutions or other activities, if any, has the Government taken about the detention of Dr Abu Safiya by date and title?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: We are aware of reports regarding the treatment of Palestinian paediatrician Dr Hussam Abu Safiya in Israeli custody. We have been advised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade that officials intend to raise the case with Israeli officials.
