Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: Of the $32 million announced on 20 October 2025 to progress design, consenting and procurement activities for Petone to Grenada and the Cross Valley Link, how much has been spent to date, and what procurement activities have been undertaken?

Hon Chris Bishop: Procurement for the preparation of the notice of requirement and associated work was completed in January 2026. As at 30 April 2026, $14.8m has been spent on design and consenting activities for Petone to Grenada.
